View PostIt is no great secret that we get drained, nor is it purely a select few. Being drained or frazzled affects some people more than others, but quite frankly, some just have more tried and tested coping methods. Behind the deliciously annoying woman who looks 'together' is a control freak who is probably managing their 'Frazzledom' down to the last process and to-do list.
View PostWe can manage to convince ourselves of many things, sometimes we need it to ease our sanity and at other times because ignorance is bliss. There is a notion of safety in knowledge, as is thinking we are potentially doing better than we actually are. This isn't always a bad thing. Without sounding too airy fairy, when you believe something is happening or can happen, the positivity works better than any pessimistic thoughts - our minds work better.
