I’m very lucky to host a show at Women’s Radio Station called ‘Get Booked’ where we talk about what I’ve read, what I’m reading, new releases, chat to authors, bloggers, publishers and book enthusiasts. All based around Supporting women’s emotional wellbeing. Opening discussions and offering support via the incredible writing community out there.
I decided to do a series on interviewing mental health advocates, putting a request out on my ‘Get Booked’ Instagram...
An Ambassdor for MQ Mental Health Foundation, as well as an Award Holder and public speaker on behalf of The Diana Award against anti-bullying and gun-crime. Please find below some examples of her blog work with both the Foundations and why raising awarness with mental health is so significant to her:
Adult & youth mental health first aid instructor at More Than Mind as well as founding Debesmanna in 2013. Debesmanna is currently the only charity in Latvia that provides free support and information to new parents and families who experience difficulties in the perinatal period. Their aim is to reduce the stigma around maternal mental health and help to educate people about it.
